Rongxiang Has Newly Launched High-efficiency Electromagnetic Clamps And Current Clamps For Cit-10 (iec 61000-4-6 Gb/t17626.6 Radio Frequency Field Induced Conducted Disturbance Immunity Test Test System), Which Can Greatly Reduce The System’s Power Amplifier Power Requirements. These High-efficiency Electromagnetic Clamps And Current Clamps Can Also Be Used With All Other Manufacturers' Iec 61000-4-6 Test Systems.
According To The Iec61000-4-6 Standard, The Method Of Injecting Electromagnetic Field Into The Interconnection Cable Of The Dut Can Be:
1) Use A Coupling And Decoupling Network (cdn);
2) If There Is No Suitable Cdn Available, Electromagnetic Forceps Can Be Used;
3) If The Length Of The Tested Cable Is Shorter Than 70cm [the Length Of A General Electromagnetic Clamp Is About 70cm], A Current Clamp Is Required.
In The Iec 61000-4-6 Standard, The Test Level Is Expressed In Volts, The Calibrated Impedance Is 150 Ohms, And The Frequency Range Is
150khz-80mhz (230mhz). The Test Level Specified By The Standard Is 10v@80%am, That Is, The Level Is 18v.
P=v2/r, So The Power Of The 18v Level Is: P=18×18/150=2.16 Watts.
The Standard Stipulates That In Order To Reduce The Mismatch From The Power Amplifier To The Network, A 6db Attenuator (t2) Should Be Used.
● After Using The 6db Attenuator, The Power Required For 18v Level Is: 2.16×4=8.64 Watts.
● When Using A Cdn, The Insertion Loss Is 0, And The Required Power Is 8.64 Watts. After Considering The Margin, A 13 Watt Power Amplifier Is Generally Required.
● If An Electromagnetic Clamp Is Used, The Insertion Loss Of The Electromagnetic Clamp Is Generally 6db, And The Required Power Is 8.64×4=35 Watts. After Considering The Margin, A 75 Watt Power Amplifier Is Generally Required. If The High-efficiency Electromagnetic Clamp F-203i Is Used, The Insertion Loss Is 3db ==> The Required Power Is 8.64×2=17.2 Watts. After Considering The Margin, A 30-watt Power Amplifier Can Be Used.
If A Current Clamp Is Used, The Insertion Loss Of A Typical Current Clamp (such As F-120-9 Or F-120-9b) Is 10db And Requires 87 Watts Of Power; After Considering The Margin, A 120 Watt Power Amplifier Should Be Used. If The High-efficiency Current Clamp F-120-9a Is Used, The Insertion Loss Is 7db, And The Required Power Is 8.64×5=43.2 Watts. After Considering The Margin, A 75-watt Power Amplifier Can Be Used.
The Iec 61000-4-6 Standard Also Stipulates That If The Output Impedance Of The Broadband Power Amplifier Can Be Kept Within The Specification Under Any Load Conditions, The 6db Attenuator T2 Can Be Omitted. The Power Amplifier Of The Cit-10 Test System Meets This Requirement. If The 6db Attenuator Is Not Used In The Cit-10 Test System, The System Only Needs 1/4 Of The Power,
● When Using Cdn, The Required Power Is 2.16 Watts.
● When The High-efficiency Electromagnetic Clamp F-203i Is Used, The Power Is 8.64 Watts.
● When Using High-efficiency Current Clamp F-120-9a, 10.8 Watts Of Power Is Required. After Considering The Margin, A 20-watt Power Amplifier Is Generally Required.
Cit-10 Has Two Standard Configurations:
Cit-10: Built-in 13-watt Power Amplifier
When Using Cdn And Electromagnetic Clamp Methods, It Can Be Guaranteed To Reach The Test Level Of 10v@80%am.
When Using A Current Clamp, If The Impedance Of The Cable Under Test Is Greater Than Or Equal To 150 Ohms, The Test Requirements Can Also Be Met.
Cit-10/75: Built-in 75-watt Power Amplifier
When Using Cdn, Electromagnetic Clamp And Current Clamp, It Can Guarantee To Reach The Test Level Of 10v@80%am.
For Companies That Have Purchased The Iec 61000-4-6 Test System, If They Need To Increase The Test Level (for Example, From 3v To 10v), The Traditional Method Is To Provide The Power Of The Amplifier, Which Means That The Power Amplifier Needs To Be Repurchased. High-efficiency Electromagnetic Clamps And Current Clamps Provide Such Enterprises With Economic Upgrade Methods.
